Shere Hite’s books include The Hite Report on the Family, The Hite Report on Female Sexuality, The Hite Report on Male Sexuality, Women and Love: A Cultural Revolution in Progress, and The Divine Comedy of Ariadne and Jupiter: A Novel. They have been translated into thirteen languages and have sold millions of copies around the world.

Shere Hite has two degrees in history and is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Historical Association, the Society for Women in Philosophy, the International Sociological Association, and the Association of Women in Psychology.
