Andrew Turnbull (1922-1970), the author of Scott Fitzgerald, grew up in Baltimore, and in the early 1930s Fitzgerald lived on his family estate. Turnbull went to Princeton and Harvard. After the war, he worked in Paris for several years before becoming an instructor at MIT. He is also the author of Thomas Wolfe.
