Hubert Selby

Hubert Selby, Jr. (1928-2004) published his first novel, Last Exit to Brooklyn, in 1964. He went on to write four other novels, The Room, The Demon, Requiem for a Dream, and The Willow Tree, and a collection of short stories, Song of the Silent Snow. He died in 2004.
