Jacqueline Osherow
Jacqueline Osherow, the author of With a Moon in Transit, Dead Men’s Praise, and other collections of poetry, has received fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Ingram Merrill Foundation, and has been awarded the Witter Bynner Prize by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She has received a number of awards from the Poetry Society of America. Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies, including The New Yorker, Paris Review, and Best American Poetry, 1998. She directs the creative writing program at the University of Utah.
