Liu Heng

Liu Heng was born in Beijing in 1954, the son of peasants. He is the author of the novels Green River Daydreams and Black Snow and the novella Fuxi Fuxi, which he adapted as the screenplay for the acclaimed film Ju Dou. Liu Heng lives in Beijing.
