Michael Herr

Michael Herr is a journalist, screenwriter, and novelist. He is the author of Kubrick, a biography of the legendary director; Dispatches, his classic account of the war in Vietnam; and the novel Walter Winchell. He is also a coauthor of the screenplays for Apocalypse Now and Full Metal Jacket.
