Miroslav Verner

Miroslav Verner, the author of The Pyramids, was the director of the Czech Institute of Egyptology for seventeen years and is currently a professor at Charles University in Prague. He also serves as guest professor at the universities of Vienna and Hamburg and since 1976 has led the excavations by Czech archaeologists in Abusir.
