Shelagh Delaney

Shelagh Delaney was born in 1939 and raised in Salford, England. After leaving school at the age of 16, she tried her hand at various jobs, including work in an engineering factory. Best remembered for her landmark play A Taste of Honey, which changed world theater forever, she died in 2011 at the age of 72.
