Tony Sanders
Tony Sanders, the author of Transit Authority, was born in New York City. Educated at Yale, the University of Iowa, and the University of Houston, his poetry and reviews have appeared in a number of periodicals, including The Paris Review, The Yale Review, Poetry, Grand Street, The New Republic, The Gettysburg Review, and Chelsea. His first collection of poems, Partial Eclipse, won the Vassar Miller Prize. He currently teaches English and creative writing at Fairfield University in Connecticut.
