Barry Miles is an English author known for his participation in and writing on the subjects of the 1960s London underground and counterculture. In addition to The Beat Hotel and Zappa, Miles’s other works include William Burroughs: El Hombre Invisible, Allen Ginsberg: A Biography, and Jack Kerouac: King of the Beats, as well as Paul McCartney: Many Years from Now. He has been involved in Beat literature for over thirty years.
Barry Miles currently lives in France with his wife and son.
