Achmat Dangor

Achmat Dangor was born in Johannesburg and for a time headed the Kagiso Trust, which aided political prisoners and their families, and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. He also served as director of advocacy and communications at UNAIDS. His books included Kafka’s Curse. He passed away in 2020 at the age of 71.
