Dario Fo

Dario Fo, the playwright whose works include The Peasants’ Bible and The Story of the Tiger and Johan Padan and the Discovery of the Americas, won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997. His plays have been performed throughout the world for many years. Born in Lombardy in 1926, he died in Milan at the age of ninety in 2016.
