Diana Athill

Diana Athill, the author of Stet, was born in 1917. She worked for the BBC during the Second World War and then helped André Deutsch establish his eponymous British publishing company. During her fifty-year tenure in publishing, she was widely regarded as one of the finest editors in Britain. She lives in London.
