Edwin Torres
Edwin Torres was born in New York City. After graduation from City College and a stint in the navy, he put himself through Brooklyn Law School in two years while waiting tables at night. He became the first Puerto Rican Assistant District Attorney in New York City his first year out of law school. He is also the author of the novels After Hours and Q & A; with Carlito’s Way: The Beginning, all three will have been made into films. Edwin Torres is a justice with the New York State Supreme Court.
