Efraim Karsh

Efraim Karsh is professor and head of Mediterranean Studies at King’s College, University of London, and is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and The Daily Telegraph. He is the author of several books, including Empires of the Sand: The Struggle for Mastery in the Middle East, 1789–1923 and the coauthor, with Inari Rautsi, of Saddam Hussein: A Political Biography.
