Among the other works by Honor Moore, the author of Darling, are The White Blackbird, a life of her grandmother, the painter Margarett Sargeant, and Mourning Pictures, a play in verse produced on Broadway. Her first collection of poems, Memoir, won awards from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. She lives in New York City and teaches in the graduate writing program at New School University.
