Maxime de la Falaise

Maxime de la Falaise, the author of Seven Centuries of English Cooking, is a fashion designer and was consulting food editor at Vogue. Her own dinners have included a commemorative feast for the coronation of Henry IV, 572 years after the event. The daughter of Sir Oswald Birley, portrait painter to the Court of St. James, she now lives in New York City.
